In 2019-2021, the hotel underwent major renovation, which was carried out everywhere, except for the rooms. There basic cosmetic repairs were made.

Travelers, who have already been to Tunisia and experienced accommodation in different hotels, know that really few hotels provide guests with snacks or meals after 21.30. Novostar Dar Khayam 3* is one of them, so tourists arriving late, as well as those who have overslept dinner, or parents whose children can suddenly get hungry, have nothing to worry about. Snacks in the hotel are full-fledged meals with main dishes freshly baked bread and pastries.
Another distinctive feature of the hotel is bunk beds in the rooms of the main hotel building. They are offered to families with two children up to 12 years of age. Standard rooms in most Tunisian hotels are rather small, so bunk beds give families of four an opportunity to be comfortably accommodated all together in one room. It’s a practical and cost-effective solution for travelers who don’t want to book two double rooms. Another option is Apartment rooms which are more expensive than rooms with bunk beds but still cheaper than two Standard rooms with twin beds.

The hotel is located in a secluded part of Hammamet, there are souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as small stores where you can buy essentials, within walking distance from the hotel. A mini amusement park for children, which is open in high season, is situated 500 m away from the hotel.
The total area of Club Novostar Dar Khayam 3* and Club Novostar Omar Khayam Resort & Aqua Park 3* hotels is 9 hectares. Residents of both hotels can use the infrastructure of the two hotels, except for the services provided by the bars and restaurants of the sister hotel.

The SPA center of the hotel is managed by Five Senses, one of the best SPA brands in the country. Modern infrastructure and equipment provide both a high level of service and safety of all the treatments. The center underwent major renovation in 2017, and was repaired in 2020. Beach bars, bars and restaurants with outdoor terraces, and water slides in Tunisian hotels are guaranteed to work from 01/06 till 30/09, as their effective functioning depends on weather conditions. Under favorable weather conditions, the service get started earlier and suspended later than the specified deadlines.
When the season changes, there is continuity of service: an indoor pool gets closed but the water slides start operating. The transition to the winter season occurs vice versa: the water park stops working, the indoor pool is opened.
