Our regular guests call this hotel one of the most European in the chain: at least a third of the guests are tourists from Western and Eastern Europe. And, of course, here, as in other Novostar hotels, Russian-speaking tourists do not experience any difficulties with communication. Though, if they want, they can practice other languages.

There are not many young people among the guests of the hotel, mostly middle-aged people stay here. This is a perfect choice for devoted fans of thalassotherapy: the Thalasso Center in the hotel has been operating since 1996, it has an enviable reputation and enjoys well-deserved popularity.

Come to Tunisia not only in summer, but also in the low season and in the off-season, without thinking about the weather forecast.   • Children’s buffet and dining area rules of operation

    Children’s animator assists the young guests during lunch (the first hour of the service) and dinner (the first hour of the service) in a special dining area equipped with little tables. The animator will help a child to choose a dish, cut it into small pieces, entertain a young guest with a conversation and make sure that the child eats a sufficient amount of food.

    You can leave your child with the animator only if he/she knows how to eat by him/herself. If the child needs to be fed, we invite parents to stay in the children's area with the child.

    Please, before leaving the child to the care of the animator, go with him/her to the toilet room. The animator objectively does not have the opportunity to accompany every child during the meal.

    During a meal, we aim to create a communicative environment. A communal meal and live communication are an important process of socialization. We kindly ask parents, if your baby eats in the children's area, not to use gadgets – not to watch cartoons - even if you and your baby occupy a separate table in the children's area.

Bio Azur Thalasso Center was renovated in 2020-2021. The heart of the Thalasso Center is the famous Aquatonic pool with heated seawater, smoothly turning into an open-air pool with a panoramic sea view. An extra bonus for guests taking thalassotherapy courses is a free visit to hammam, the Aquatonic pool, a fitness room, a relaxation area. The center offers an impressive list of energy massages with valuable oils. For aesthetic procedures, the legendary cosmetic brands Sothys and Gatineau are used here. Under favorable weather conditions, the service get started earlier and suspended later than the specified deadlines.

    When the season changes, there is continuity of service: an indoor pool gets closed but the water slides start operating. The transition to the winter season occurs vice versa: the water park stops working, the indoor pool is opened.

Tourist tax

According to the law of the Tunisian Republic from 08/12/2017, all Tunisian hotels are obliged to charge the guests with a tax during the check-in on the date of arrival. The tax is 3 TND per night in 4 and 5 stars hotels, 2 TND per night in 3 stars hotel and 1 TND per night in 2 stars hotels. The tax is charged for the first 7 nights of the stay in the hotel. No tax is charged for further accommodation. If a tourist stays in the hotel for less than a week, he/ she pays only for the actual number of nights.

The tax is levied on every tourist aged 12 years and older. If a child turns 12 in the first week of staying in the hotel, then from that moment a tax is charged for the number of nights remaining before the end of that week.

The tax must be paid only in cash and in the national currency. Money can be exchanged at the hotel reception, regardless of the time of arrival at the hotel. The hotel confirms the payment of the tax by issuing a receipt.
